PSP Bible: Stream live video from your PC to your PSP

Okay, so a lot of PSP owners probably don’t have the space to store a lot of movies onto their psp. Well, I can show you how to have tons of movies available on your psp without having to store it on your psp.

*NOTE* you must have CUSTOM FIRMWARE (or 1.50 official firmware)  in order to use this program. 

In order to do this you are going to need a program called PiMPStreamer 

You might ask, “What is PiMPStreamer?” well it is a program that allows you to stream video from your PC (through your Wi-Fi network) to your PSP without having to worry about the format of your videos and if they can play on your PSP.

So, First things first your can download it HERE:

Just click the green download button on the right and it will download.

Now when you install this program make sure that your psp is in USB mode (I don’t think I need to explain how to do that XD) because the program is going to detect your psp. also when the program ask if you want to download PSP binaries make sure you select this option.

If you do not have a PSP/GAME directory on your psp you might need to specify where your psp is. Also if you use official firmware 1.50 everything should run smoothly, but if you use a firmware that boots 150 games from the GAME 150 folder you might have to copy the PIMPSTREAMER201SUB and PIMPSTREAMER201SUB% from the PSP/GAME directory and copy it to the PSP/GAME 150 folder. If you don’t have a PSP/GAME 150 folder then you will need to create it.

Once the program has synced with your psp, run the program and this screen should show up:

What you are going to do is click browse at the top right of your screen and direct the program to the videos you want to stream (the file location). Once you have done that just turn on your psp go to game and look for the green pimpstreamer program. this program is very easy to use and all you have to do is select the video you want to run.

NOTE: I would use the green one (Version 1) it’s simple and it works the best.
